Welcome to pregnancy and women’s health. This new blog is co-ordinated by Professor Julie  Quinlivan, a professor and specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Professor Quinlivan has published over 200 research publications in the fields of high risk pregnancy, paediatric and adolescent gynaecology, infectious disease in pregnancy and medical education. Click here for link to publications

Professor Quinlivan has also been a senior clinician at several large Australian hospitals, and has been Dean of Health and Executive Dean and ProVice Chancellor of Medicine at the University of Notre Dame Australia. Having taught medical, midwifery and allied health students at five Universities and been a member of many government boards, tribunals, expert reference groups and committees, she has decided to write about some of the things that interest her in pregnancy and women’s health.
